           Apostle Dwana Whitaker's remarkable life journey began in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was raised in a single-parent household. This upbringing instilled in her the qualities of strength, confidence, and independence, which have played a crucial role in her journey to success. 

           With 27 years of devoted service in nursing, this First Lady's career reflects her unwavering commitment to her faith. Within the ranks of nursing, she has held numerous management positions and is frequently sought after by major corporations to bring order and excellence to their healthcare facilities.

          Her passion for leadership culminates in her prestigious role as Director of Nursing, where seizing the opportunity to guide her facility towards the highest levels of excellence has become the standard. Along with being  a visionary entrepreneur serving as the CEO and founder of Higher Standards Nursing Agency she pastors Epic Church alongside her husband of 23 years, Bishop Kevin Whitaker.

          This accomplishment is a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and her commitment to elevating standards within the healthcare industry. In addition to her professional achievements, family remains at the core of Apostle Dwana's life. With nearly 23 years of marriage to the love of her life and the joy of mothering five beautiful daughters, family stands as the cornerstone of her life.

          It's a testament to her priorities and values, placing family above everything else. Apostle Dwana serves alongside her husband in ministry. Together, they established 'Raising the Standard International Ministries' in Memphis, Tennessee, and 'EPIC Church International Atlanta' in Douglasville, Georgia. They travel the globe, preaching and providing oversight to churches worldwide.

          Apostle Dwana passionately empowers women through her ministry, 'Women of Standard,' where her preaching and leadership inspire countless others. Furthermore, she serves as the Director of Women at 'Raising the Standard International Fellowship,' alongside her husband, who serves as the Presider.

          Their overarching mission is to provide unwavering support to women facing challenging times, emphasizing the importance of realizing one's full potential and destiny. Apostle Dwana further demonstrates her commitment through the annual "I'm a Bad Woman" Women's Conference, where she empowers and uplifts women from diverse backgrounds.
